I recently purchased a great book on the use of imagery and visualisation in therapy.......the use of these techniques can be found in most therapeutic interventions (such as hypnosis, CBT, EMDR and a most other psychotherapies). But it is a powerful technique all on its own! Its also simple to use.
For example if you are struggling with a project:
Just sit back......take a moment and perhaps just breath for a while....
Now imagine that you are running a film in your mind.....this film is in full colour and perhaps its 'smelly vision' too.
