Client Feedback:

"I was really down and depressed and didn't see any end to it.

The therapy helped me to deal with depression and to handle it - with relaxing therapies, thinking positive and challenging negative thoughts!

I now feel confident to move on and to start living my life again"

“I had been experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem and sleep deprivation for a number of months, which I believe had been caused by both personal and work related factors, which at the time I was finding to be extremely distressing.

Through the personal recommendation of another professional, I referred myself to Bryan for appropriate therapy. Following the initial consultation and clinical assessments, it was recommended the cause of my anxiety should be treated as the priority. Over the course of eight weeks, I participated in six sessions of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). The therapy has taught me to challenge the negative, anxiety producing thoughts, which were a major factor of my anxious state, fatigue, low self-esteem and sleep deprivation.

The successful outcome for myself is having learned and used the CBT techniques, there has been a direct impact by a reduction of the anxiety producing thoughts.

CBT has benefited me to move forward with my personal and professional life as a result of regular practice. These factors have improved my self-esteem and ultimately improved my sleeping“.

Bryan really helped my wife through a difficult period. She suffers with OCD which was particularly bad during her recent pregnancy. Thanks Bryan :)

“When I first went to see Bryan, I wanted two things. I wanted to be listened to with care and I wanted a therapeutic response for me based on what he heard, rather than ‘a one size fits all’ response. Bryan did listen carefully to what I so desperately needed to say – I could tell from his comments. His suggested solutions to my problems were based on what I said and they provided a respite, a firewall between me and the problems that I felt were overwhelming me. With this in place, I was able to re-evaluate what troubled me and to know that when I came under pressure again I had some tools to give myself some sense of safety.”

This female client benefited from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Mindfulness and Compassionate Mind exercises. Looking at how our thoughts often affect our emotions and our behaviour…..learning to calm one’s mind…..watching rather than interacting with unhelpful thoughts. Bryan
